May 5    I-26ALT TRANSIT TALK
The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments cordially invites you to join us for a panel discussion on the future of transit along the I-26 Corridor. The event will provide an overview of the I-26 Fixed Guideway Alternatives Analysis and the results of an employee survey. A distinguished panel will share their experience on how transit can successfully partner with business to improve access to jobs and boost our regional economy. An open discussion will provide business leaders throughout our region the opportunity to share thoughts on what transit from Summerville to Charleston should look like over the next 20 years.

May 5    Emerging Leaders Network 5/15

The Emerging Leaders Network is an exclusive program for up and coming business leaders in their 20's and 30's.  This group meets for lunch, during this time, guest speakers will present various topics of interest. Leaders from this region will also be invited to dine and mingle with the group. These Young Emerging Leaders will also be given a number of opportunities throughout the year to take on various leadership roles within the Chamber and positively represent your company at events and programs.  
 

 

 

Last month the Chamber held an Emerging Leaders meeting to discusshow the Chamber can better assist  young professionals to reach their goals and ambitions. At this time, the Chamber would like to hold a second meeting to gather more input from our young professionals. The participants will discuss  "What they need from their community, what they need from the Chamber, and how does our growing and diversified county play a major role in their development."
