| The Town of Summerville and Summerville DREAM will present "Summerville’s Red, White & Blue on the Green" at Gahagan Park on Friday July 4th from 5:30–9:30pm. This free event will include fireworks, a kids' zone with games and prizes, costume contests and a non-motorized parade. There will also be a beer garden and food trucks with items available for purchase, live music from local party band Zero to Never and a free trolley shuttle from Heritage Square. |

The festival kicks off on Friday, July 4th at 6:30 PM behind the Goose Creek Municipal Center at 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd. and concludes at dark with a grand finale fireworks display. |

Due to very limited parking, festival goers are encouraged to arrive early and carpool.
The festival will be highlighted by performances by the “Local Motion” party band. This popular group will feature an exciting mix of music to entertain the crowd all evening.
In additional to a variety of food vendors there will be a free children’s activity area sponsored by Freedom Life Church. Activities include a climbing wall, giant slide, jump castles, fun toss games and a patriotic tattoo parlor featuring temporary tattoos.
The highlight of the festival will be the grand finale fireworks display scheduled to begin around 9:30 pm. |

Admission to the festival is free. No alcohol, coolers, pets or outside fireworks including sparklers are permitted. Due to limited parking, no tailgating is permitted.

Fireworks will kick off at dark at Old Santee Canal Park July 5, 2014.

Special NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course for School Teachers. The course will cover parts and operation, ammunition, using the pistol safely, operating a pistol, cleaning, storing, and transporting a pistol. Also Range Firing instructing in shooting fundamentals and different shooting positions. A written test and certificate of completion. (You may bring your lunch, snacks and beverages will be available). Register (5) Teachers and the 6th one will be FREE!!!!!! The class will be limited to 12 so that ample may be allowed on the Firearms Range, and changes in the firearm LAWS.
