The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Technology Transfer (STTR) program is a highly competitive program that encourages domestic small businesses to engage in federal Research and Development (R&D) that has the potential for commercialization. Through a competitive awards-based program, SBIR enables small businesses to explore their technological potential and provides the incentive to profit from its commercialization. Is your technology company eligible for federal funding through the government?s SBIR/STTR program? Join us for a workshop covering SBIR/STTR program basics including: program purpose; eligibility; and sources of funding. The session is designed to provide enough information to determine if you would like to seriously pursue SBIR/STTR proposal development and tools to help begin the process.
